Our tour of the Danish capital starts with a scenic drive along the waterfront of the world’s oldest monarchy. The Amalienbirg castle houses the venerable Royal Family and offers splendid views of the Opera House and the Marble church next door. Of course no trip to Copenhagen is complete without a visit to the Little Mermaid, the iconic sculpture based on the fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen.
Once we arrive at the old town center we will stroll down the Stroget, one of the longest and the most famous pedestrian, shopping boulevards in all of Europe. Along the way we will pass the Town Hall, as well as the Tivoli Gardens and the Christiansborg Castle, home to the Parliament, Royal reception rooms, and the prime ministers offices.
From here we will discover the charming waterfront district of Nyhavn, with its canals and restaurants, an ideal place to watch the beautiful inhabitants of the Danish capital. If you so desire you are welcome to spend more time downtown or take a short drive back to the harbor and your ship.
Our representatives will be waiting for you outside the terminal entrance.
