Make the most of your cruise ship's stop at Le Havre Port and embark on a day trip to Paris. Enjoy a convenient bus ride to the city and join a guide on a panoramic tour of the city's major landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysees, Notre Dame, and many more.
You will be greeted outside the cruise ship terminal and board a comfortable, air-conditioned bus to set out on a journey through the beautiful Norman countryside. It is about a 3-hour drive from Le Havre to Paris.
Upon arrival in Paris, your first stop is the world's most famous monument: the Eiffel Tower! Here, you'll meet your passionate local tour guide who will bring the city to life with their captivating stories and historical insights.
Next, embark on a spectacular panoramic bus tour of the City of Lights. See the majestic Les Invalides, a sacred military site that houses Napoleon's grave. Glide alongside the Seine River, as your guide points out the Place de la Concorde, one of the most important sites of the French Revolution. Admire the façade of the Louvre Museum (unfortunately, the pyramid cannot be seen from the bus), and drive into the historic center of Paris.
Enter the Latin Quarter, a vibrant and colorful neighbourhood known for its narrow alleyways and quaint cafes. Once the haunt of Ernest Hemingway, to this day the Latin Quarter houses bookshops, publishing houses, and the historic Sorbonne University.
Soon you'll reach the Pantheon, where France commemorates its greatest heroes: buried here are Marie Curie, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, and many others.
See the twin towers of the legendary Notre-Dame Cathedral, which suffered a catastrophic fire in 2019 but stands today as a monument to the will of the French people.
Finish your tour by driving up the Champs-Élysées, the most famous avenue in the world for high-end fashion. At the top is the Arc de Triomphe, where you'll descend for a photo and, time-permitting, a break to grab a bite and do some quick shopping at the Champs-Élysées.
As the tour comes to an end, your guide will bid you farewell, and you will be transported back to the Le Havre cruise ship port.
As Paris is far from the port, there is limited time for exploration. This tour offers a fully guided tour with a licensed local guide and a brief lunch break, but please note there won't be time for extensive shopping or a sit-down meal. If you are interested in a tour with more free time, we recommend our other Paris shore excursion: "Shop & Dine", including a brief panoramic tour, and more free time for exploration around the Champs Elysees. Due to the limited time in port, it is unfortunately impossible to combine shopping, a sit-down meal, and sightseeing.
Enjoy a tour adjusted to your ship's schedule, ensuring that you have plenty of time to enjoy the day without worrying about making it back to the ship on time. Be picked up directly at the port and dropped off with plenty of time to spare, so you can relax and enjoy your day.

Our first stop will be the most iconic landmark in the world - the Eiffel Tower! Located in the heart of Paris, the Eiffel Tower is not just any ordinary attraction - it's a cultural icon that represents France's engineering excellence and rich history.
Built in 1889 for the World's Fair, the Eiffel Tower was named after its visionary designer, Gustave Eiffel, and once held the title of the world's tallest man-made structure. Today, it continues to captivate visitors from all over the globe with its breathtaking beauty and romantic allure.
Here you will meet your professional local tour guide, who will make the next few hours unforgettable. They'll also help you capture the perfect photo to commemorate your visit to this must-see attraction. With our team of knowledgeable, engaging, and enthusiastic guides, you are in safe hands.
Please note that due to the security measures, a visit inside the Eiffel Tower can take 2 to 3 hours, and for this reason, we will only be visiting from outside.
After the Eiffel Tower, you'll get back on the bus for a panoramic tour of Paris.
Up first: Les Invalides, a sacrosanct monument for the French army. Built in the 17th century as a military hospital and retirement home for war veterans, it is now a symbol of French military history and power. It houses several museums and is also home to the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte.
See the famous Place de la Concorde and be awed by its grandeur! This iconic Parisian square boasts ornate fountains and the historic Obelisk of Luxor. A hugely significant place during the French Revolution, this is where the fearsome guillotine was located.
Glide along the River Seine and take in spectacular views of the city.
Admire the ornate façade of the Louvre: once the palace of the kings of France, now the most celebrated museum in the world.
Please note that the Louvre Pyramid sadly cannot be seen from the bus.
The highest honour any French person can receive is to be buried at the Pantheon. This stunning neoclassical building, reminiscent of its counterpart in Rome, is the final resting place of Voltaire, Marie Curie, and even the American dancer Josephine Baker.
As you drive around the Pantheon, take in the jaw-dropping view.
This true masterpiece of Gothic architecture suffered significant damage in a fire in 2019, but it remains an iconic symbol of Paris and its resilience.
Please note that due to ongoing renovations, the cathedral is closed to visitors, and scaffolding may obstruct the view from the outside. Your local guide will assess whether it's feasible to explore the area on foot, time and view permitting. If possible, we will take a short walk before concluding the tour.
Drive down the most famous avenue in the world, lined with theaters, cafes, and luxury shops, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Paris. The Champs-Élysées has been a symbol of French elegance and style for centuries, attracting millions of visitors every year.
Standing majestically at the end of the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe is a must-see attraction that perfectly captures the grandeur and glory of Paris. Built in honor of those who fought and died for France, this iconic monument boasts breathtaking views of the city and is steeped in history and symbolism that will leave you in awe. Hop off the bus here to snap the perfect picture of this imposing monument.
Time-permitting, you will have 30-45 minutes here to do some quick shopping, grab a snack, and wander around the Champs-Élysées.

Visiting the Eiffel Tower during our tours:
We'd like to inform you that our standard itineraries do not include an opportunity to visit the Eiffel Tower's interior. Here are the reasons and some considerations if you still wish to explore it on your own:
During the high season, it is recommended to allocate at least 1.5 to 2 hours for the entire Eiffel Tower experience, even with a skip-the-line ticket. This is due to the time required for security checks, ascent, and descent.
Our two tour options allocate 15-30 minutes at the Eiffel Tower. If you wish to explore further, you may visit independently and rejoin the tour by taxi later. However, please note that you'll need to locate the tour group on your own, as shared tours follow a predetermined route and cannot be delayed for individual preferences.
While we understand your enthusiasm for visiting the Eiffel Tower, we generally advise against it during our tour, as it may consume most of your time in Paris on a busy day. Nonetheless, if it's a priority for you, we'll do our best to support your decision and help facilitate the experience.
For a more personalized experience, we offer customizable guided private or semi-private tours with licensed Parisian guides who can create the perfect itinerary just for you. If you're interested, please contact us for a custom quote, and let's work together to create an unforgettable Parisian adventure.
We have received your inquiry. We will contact you as soon as possible!
