Overview

Your adventure will begin with an introduction to the city’s culture and history, as you drive along the stunning harbor front in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Your expert, local guide will share with you the country’s proud royal heritage, before showing you Amaliensborg Castle – the official residence of the Danish Royal family.

See the iconic Little Mermaid statue – a local symbol based on the fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Pass by the lively Tivoli Gardens, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, before making your way to Copenhagen’s impressive Town Hall.

Next, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Christiansborg Palace – the only building in the world that houses all three branches of a country’s government – the Parliament, the Supreme Court, and the office of the Prime Minister. Inside the palace, you can explore the Royal Reception Rooms, the Great Hall, the Royal Stables, and the Queen’s tapestries, which depict 1000 years of Danish history.

After an informative and exciting tour of the palace, you’ll continue your exploration of Copenhagen’s most impressive sites. Finally, you’ll visit Nyhavn or ‘New Harbor’, the most popular area in the city, where you can appreciate the beautiful décor of archaic boats that line the canal, as well as the colorful 17th-century houses.

During the tour, you’ll be given some free time, where you can enjoy a relaxing coffee break or spend some time browsing the local shops. Your guide will be able to recommend some of the best spots in the city and will be happy to answer any questions that you have throughout the day.
