Itinerary

1. Airport pick-up

You'll be greeted at Berlin Brandenburg airport by our knowledgeable guide and professional driver, who will be at your service for the entire tour duration. They will transport you to the heart of the German capital in comfort and style, taking you straight to the UNESCO-listed Museum Island. The journey takes about 1 hour.

2. Museum Island

At Museum Island you will enjoy an engaging introduction to the city as you admire the recently completed Berlin Palace and the magnificent Berlin Dome. Your guide will tell you about the five world-renowned museums filled with incredible collections, such as the famous bust of Nefertiti at Neues Museum, and Pergamon Altar at Pergamon Museum.

3. East Berlin

Next, you'll take a scenic drive through the center of East Berlin, visiting iconic sites such as the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and the location of Hitler's Bunker. We'll also showcase the stunning Bebelplatz and Gendarmenmarkt, and take you to Checkpoint Charlie, the famous crossing point over the Berlin Wall. You'll have the opportunity to walk along a remaining section of this Cold War symbol and see the Berlin Wall itself, as well as visit the Topography of Terror to learn about the atrocities committed by the Nazis.

4. West Berlin

During the 8-hour layover tour in Berlin, you'll also visit West Berlin. You will drive down the Kurfürstendamm, one of the city's most famous shopping avenues and a symbol of Berlin's resurgence after World War II. Explore the KaDeWe, the largest department store in continental Europe. Here, you'll have the chance to explore its many floors, filled with everything from designer fashion to gourmet foods, and perhaps even treat yourself to a little shopping spree.

5. Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church

Finally, we'll visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, a symbol of Berlin's resilience in the face of adversity. Despite being heavily damaged during World War II, the church was left standing as a reminder of the city's past. Today, it stands as a beautiful and peaceful space for reflection and meditation, with its damaged spire serving as a powerful symbol of hope and renewal.

- For groups of 7+ people: free cancellation up to up to 7 days ahead. From 6 days in advance to 48 hours in advance, a 50% fee will apply.

- Cancellations less than 48 hours ahead or no-shows result in no refund.
